Public Compliance Statement
• Collaborative Cures is committed to complying with the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public and has formally discussed and adopted the Guidelines at a meeting of the Board.
• Collaborative Cures confirms its commitment to the principles set out in the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public by a statement to that effect in its annual report.
• Collaborative Cures has a Donor Charter which is consistent with the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public.
• Collaborative Cures regularly monitors compliance with the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public and compliance reports are received by the Board.
• Collaborative Cures considers the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public when planning all fundraising activity.
• Collaborative Cures provides honest, open, accountable and transparent disclosure when fundraising from the public.
• Collaborative Cures Board and management are responsible for compliance with the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public.
• Collaborative Cures ensures that fundraising staff are provided with information and training on the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public and its implementation.
• Collaborative Cures has a feedback and complaints procedure consistent with the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public. Feedback is recorded for review by relevant staff including the CEO and Board. Feedback is responded to promptly and appropriately.
• Collaborative Cures prepares financial reports consistent with the requirements of the Charities Act 2009 and the Charities Regulator which include a statement concerning the extent to which control of the organisation is independent of its funding sources.
• Collaborative Cures ensures that all donations are tracked and recorded and complies with data protection requirements.
• Collaborative Cures is accessible to the public through a number of readily available contact options.
Donor Charter
• All donors will be treated with openness, honesty and respect.
• Donors will be informed of the Charity ’s mission and any donated resources solicited on behalf of the Charity will be used to further this mission.
• Donors will receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers to questions they may have in relation to the Charity.
• Donors will be informed of the identity of those serving on the Charity’s Board, and will have access to the charity’s most recent financial statements.
• Donors will be assured that their donations will be used for the intended purpose for which they were given.
• Donors will receive timely and appropriate acknowledgement and recognition of their donation.
• Donors will be assured that information regarding their donation is handled with respect and confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
• Donors have the right to ask to be deleted from mailing lists, and informed if their information is shared with third parties under Data Protection legislation.
• Donors can expect that all relationships with individuals representing the Charity will be dealt with professionally and in a fair and transparent way.
• Donors will be informed whether those seeking donations are staff, volunteers or third parties acting on behalf of the Charity.
• Donors will have easy access to the agreed procedures for making and responding to complaints.
